What We Do
Annual book sales provide gently-used books to the Berea College community and funds scholarships for local women pursuing higher education.
Scholarships and outreach encourage and support women pursuing higher education, particularly in traditionally underrepresented fields.
Members provide an intergenerational network of connections and mentorship to women both inside and outside the organization in need of mentorship and support.
We are tenacious and trailblazing — advocating for women and girls since 1881 and into the future! Our Berea chapter of AAUW focuses on helping the growth of women in our immediate and surrounding areas. We aim to provide:
- Economic Security
- Educational Advancement
- Occupational Equality
