Mission

AAUW Berea’s mission is to facilitate and advance the causes of gender equality for women and girls across the region through the promotion of gender advocacy, education equality, philanthropy through scholarship opportunities, and research on a spectrum of topics. Through its public policy program, all AAUW members inform themselves and influence national and local educational policies for the benefit of women and girls of all walks of life in every corner of our society.
