Scholarships
The AAUW is committed to providing educational opportunities to women across the state through the promotion of grants such as for undergraduate studies, career development, community development, and professional graduate studies.
Non-Traditional & High School Students
As part of Berea AAUW’s mission to promote education equality, High school seniors in our community schools and non-traditional college students at Berea College are encouraged to apply for a $500 scholarship. Interested applicants must research a well-known woman and describe her contribution to society and how they have affected your life. A link to the application can be found here
American Fellowships
National AAUW American Fellowships support women scholars who are pursuing full-time study to complete dissertations, conducting postdoctoral research full-time, or preparing research for publication for eight consecutive weeks. Visit the national AAUW site for more information.
Career Development Grants
Career Development Grants provide funding to women who hold a bachelor’s degree and are preparing to advance or change careers or re-enter the workforce in education, health, and medical sciences, or social sciences. These opportunities can be found on the national AAUW site.
